Audials Movie is a Windows application that records movies and series from streaming services and saves them as local video files. It works by capturing the stream while it plays through an internal browser or through Chrome, Firefox, or Edge, then reassembling the adaptive segments into one clean file without visible transitions. Preconfigured tiles let you start recording from services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, and Paramount+ with a single click. High-speed recording can save a film faster than its actual runtime, so a two-hour movie does not occupy your whole evening.
Audials Movie records from major services including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max, Peacock, Paramount+, Apple TV+, Twitch, and ESPN, each with its own one-click tile. Netflix and Amazon Prime can be captured in up to 1080p Full HD, while many other services are saved in 720p HD. The forced 1080p setting applies only to Netflix; for Amazon, Disney+, and others the service itself decides the delivered resolution, so the final quality depends on the source. Any service without a ready-made tile can still be saved through the Other Source / Screen Recording option.
Audials Movie records only video, while Audials One adds music streaming, internet radio, and podcast recording in the same program. Both capture streaming video up to 1080p and share the same recording engine, service tiles, and ad-removal tools. The AI Video Enhancer that upscales recordings to 4K is part of Audials One Premium, not the standalone Movie product. Choose Movie if you only need to save films and series, and choose Audials One if you also want to record audio or upscale older videos.

No, Audials Movie runs only on Windows, and there is no Mac version or planned macOS support. Recording is also capped at 1080p Full HD; the 4K AI upscaling seen in Audials marketing belongs to Audials One Premium, not to Movie. Because Audials re-records the stream rather than downloading the original file, the output quality depends on the browser, your graphics card, and what the service actually delivers. Mac users would have to run Windows through Parallels or a virtual machine, and even then driver support on Apple Silicon is unreliable.
You need your own active, paid account for each streaming service you want to capture, because Audials records the stream you are entitled to play rather than bypassing a subscription. It creates a private copy for personal use from legal sources and does not circumvent copy protection, so a valid login for services like Netflix or Disney+ is required. Audials can record through its internal player or through Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, and you can store your login so you do not have to sign in before every session. Recorded films remain copyrighted, so sharing or redistributing them can break the law in most countries.
