Installation Guide for McAfee Mobile Security

1. Download the app
   Open your device’s app store—Google Play on Android or the App Store on iOS. Search for “McAfee Mobile Security” (sometimes shown as “McAfee Security” or “McAfee Privacy & Security”) and tap Install (Android) or Get (iOS).
2. Open the App
   Once installed, open the app. You’ll see an option to start a free trial or use an activation code.
3. Tap “Got an activation code?”
   Choose this option to activate your subscription.
4. Enter Activation Code
   Input the activation code from your McAfee subscription email or account.
5. Sign In to Your McAfee Account
   Enter your registered email and password, then tap Sign in.

Detailed Walkthrough

Open the Google Play Store. In the search bar, type “mcafee security”.

Tap Install on the McAfee Security: Antivirus VPN listing by McAfee LLC.

Open the app after installation. Instead of starting the trial, tap “Got an activation code?” at the bottom.

Enter the Activation Code provided in your subscription email or McAfee account. After entering the code, tap Next to continue activation.

You’ll be prompted to sign in to your McAfee account. Enter your email address and password. Tap Sign in to proceed.

Once signed in, your McAfee Mobile Security app will link to your subscription.

Follow the setup prompts:

• Grant necessary permissions (device access, VPN configuration, etc.).
• Enable real-time protection and VPN if desired.
