1. Download MailStore Server
- Go to the official KeyExpress Download Center (follow the link in your invoice).
- Download the MailStore Server
2. Run the Installer
- Double-click the downloaded setup file to launch the installer
- Select your preferred language
- Accept the license agreement
- Choose the installation directory (default recommended)
- Proceed with installation
3. Enter License Key (Activation Step)
During installation, you will be prompted to:
- Enter your product key
OR
- Import a license file
Activate License After Installation (If Skipped)
If you didn’t enter the key during setup:
- Open MailStore Client
- Login as admin
- Go to:
- Administrative Tools → License Management
- Enter your license key
- Click Activate
4. Configure SSL Certificate
You must configure encryption for secure access.
Available options:
- Self-signed certificate → for testing only
- Existing SSL certificate → recommended for production
- Let’s Encrypt certificate → free & widely used
5. Configure Installation Options
During setup, you will see additional configuration options:
- Automatically configure Windows Firewall
- Enable automatic updates
- Enable license auto-update
- Send anonymous usage data (optional)
6. Complete Installation
- Click Finish
- MailStore Server service will start automatically
- MailStore Client will open
