Note: The installation and deployment workflow is identical for all editions. The applied license key (Desktop Base / Desktop Base Plus / Server Base / Server Base Plus) determines the enabled features and functionality.
Preparation
- Obtain a valid Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security license.
- Download:
- Kaspersky Security Center (KSC) full package
- Endpoint/Server protection components (Endpoint Security for Windows or Server Security)
- Prepare required infrastructure:
- Database server for KSC
- Admin account with local administrator rights
- Network connectivity to managed devices. Kaspersky recommends planning the Security Center deployment before protection rollout.
Install Kaspersky Security Center
- Run the KSC installation executable as administrator.
- Choose Install Kaspersky Security Center.
- Select installation method and database.
- Complete file installation and configuration wizard.
Create Installation Packages
- Open Kaspersky Security Center Console.
- Go to: Advanced → Remote installation → Installation packages
- Create packages for:
- Network Agent
- Endpoint Security (desktop)
- Server Security (server workloads)
Deploy Agents to Devices
- Discover devices using:
- Active Directory synchronization
- Network discovery
- Run Remote installation task to install:
- Network Agent
- Security application
- Devices must have administrator credentials for remote installation.
Activate License and Apply Policies
- Add the license key in Security Center → Licenses.
- Assign license to device groups:
- Workstations → Desktop license
- Servers → Server license
- Configure security policies and tasks.
Final Configuration
- Update databases and modules.
- Configure protection policies:
- Malware protection
- Application control
- Exploit prevention
- Verify protection status in the Security Center dashboard.
