Installation Guide for Acronis True Image 2019 Backup

1. Download Installer

1. Log in to your Acronis account at account.acronis.com.
2. Navigate to “My Products & Subscriptions” and find “Acronis True Image 2019.”
3. Click Download to save the installer (EXE/MSI) to your PC.

3. Install Core Application

1. Double-click the downloaded installer file.
2. When prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.
3. In the Setup Wizard:
   1. Accept the License Agreement and click Next.
   2. Choose installation folder or leave default, then click Next.
   3. Click Install to begin installation.
4. Once complete, click Finish.

4. First-Run Configuration

1. Launch “Acronis True Image 2019” from Start Menu or desktop shortcut.
2. Sign in with your Acronis account when prompted.
3. Let the application check for updates (automatic by default).

5. Edition-Specific Activation

After core installation, follow the steps below based on your edition:

Essentials

1. Go to Menu → About.
2. Click Enter license key.
3. Paste your Essentials key and click Activate.

Advanced

1. Complete the Essentials activation steps above.
2. Under Features, enable:
   • Disk-imaging utilities
   • Scheduled backup customization

Premium

1. Complete the Advanced activation steps above.
2. Under Cloud & Extras, enable:
   • Cloud-backup options
   • Universal Restore
   • Active Protection (anti-ransomware)

6. Verify Installation

• Open the application and confirm your edition is shown in Menu → About.
• Create a test backup of a small folder to ensure functionality.
• Check that scheduled tasks appear under Backup → Manage plans.
