1) Download & Install (JetBrains Toolbox App)
- Go to the KeyExpress Download Center and download Toolbox App
- Install the app:
- Windows: Run
.exe installer
- macOS: Drag to Applications
- Linux: Extract and run
- Open Toolbox App
- Log in with your JetBrains Account
- Select any IDE (e.g., IntelliJ IDEA, WebStorm, Rider) and click Install
Note: Once installed, the license activates automatically via your account.
2) Activation Process
Method 1 — JetBrains Account (Primary Method)
- Open the IDE
- Go to:
Help → Register → Activate New License
- Select JetBrains Account
- Log in via browser
- Return to IDE → Click Activate
Method 2 — Automatic Activation via Toolbox
- If using Toolbox App:
- Simply log in once
- All installed IDEs auto-activate
Method 3 — Activation Code (Offline / Manual)
- Open IDE → Help → Register
- Select Activation Code
- Paste your code
- Click Activate
Method 4 — License Server (For Teams)
- Open IDE → Help → Register
- Select License Server
- Enter server URL
- Log in and activate
