Installation Guide for G DATA Internet Security / Total Security

1. Go to the Download Center
   Visit the Keys.Express Download Center or use the link provided in your order confirmation email. Select G Data Internet Security and click Download.
2. Locate the Installer
   Open your Downloads folder and find the file named: GDATA_INTERNETSECURITY_WEB_WEU.exe
3. Run the Installer
   Double-click the file and select Yes when asked, “Do you want to allow this app to make changes?”
4. Choose Your Language and Installation Type
   Select your preferred language (English is default) → Click Next. Choose Standard Installation (recommended) → Accept the privacy policy → Click Next.
5. Accept License Agreement
   Read and accept the EULA (End User License Agreement) → Click Accept & Install.
6. Activate Your Product
   Select Activate full version if you have a license code, or Trial version for a 30-day trial.
7. Enter License Details
   Input your registration number and contact info → Click Activate now.
8. Restart Your PC
   Once installation completes, select Restart now to finish setup.

Detailed Walkthrough

Go to the Keys.Express Download Center, choose Security Solutions → G Data Internet Security, and click the green Download button.

Navigate to Downloads, find the installer file GDATA_INTERNETSECURITY_WEB_WEU.exe.

When prompted by User Account Control, click Yes to allow the app to make changes.

Select your preferred language (English, German, French, etc.) and click Next.

Choose Standard installation for full features. Tick the privacy acknowledgment box → Click Next.

Read and agree to the EULA → Click Accept & Install.

(Optional) Check I agree to the transmission of telemetry data → Click Next.

The software downloads and installs setup components. Wait until the process finishes.

Select Activate full version if you have a license, or Activate trial version for a 30-day free trial → Click Next.

Choose Enter a new registration number if this is your first activation. Alternatively, you can select Enter login credentials if you already have an existing account.

Fill in all required fields:

• Registration number (found in your purchase email or card)
• Personal details: Name, Email, Address, ZIP, Country
• Accept the Privacy Policy box at the bottom.
  Click Activate now to register and activate your license.

Once activation completes, you’ll see “Installation Successful!” Tick Restart now and click Exit to finish setup.
