Installation Guide for AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional / Server / Technician

This unified guide applies to the Professional, Server, and Technician editions. The installation workflow is identical across editions; only licensing scope and some features differ. Each step includes one official manufacturer reference.

1) Check system requirements & pick your edition

  • Hardware: Minimum 500 MHz CPU and 256 MB RAM (or higher recommended).
  • OS: Windows PCs and Servers are supported; verify your exact version before proceeding.
  • Edition: Choose Professional (PCs), Server (Windows Server), or Technician (commercial use across many machines).

2) Download the official installer

  1. Open the official download page.
  2. Choose the edition that matches your license and click Download.
  3. Save the .exe installer to your PC or server.

3) Run the setup wizard

  1. Locate the downloaded installer (e.g., PAssist_Setup.exe) and double‑click it.
  2. Click Next and follow the on‑screen instructions.
  3. When the wizard finishes, click Finish. If prompted, restart Windows to complete installation.

4) First launch & interface check

  1. Start AOMEI Partition Assistant from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
  2. Confirm the main console loads (menu bar, toolbar, disk/partition list). This verifies a successful installation.

5) Activate your license

  1. Launch the program; the registration dialog may appear automatically. If not, click Register inside the app.
  2. Enter your license code and confirm. For offline machines, use Offline Registration.

Tip: For servers, always take a configuration backup or snapshot before manipulating partitions in production.
