Solution #
The customer needs to send us a screenshot. Depending on what he sends you can send him a new one. You can test if the bound key is still usable if you log in on this site with your own Microsoft account.

The problem here is we cannot say if the key was activated by the customer or if it was a dud to begin with.
It is possible that he wants to input the key in the program, after he as input it in his account. If he has registered it in his MS account, he needs to use the newly generated key shown in his account site under abos.

If he has it not registered in his account you can send him a new key. After that send the screenshot, with the not working key, to Manuel.
