Follow these steps to install and activate the non-subscription (“lifetime/perpetual”) version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 on Windows.
1) Download the installer
- Open Adobe’s official Elements download page.
- Sign in with your Adobe ID if prompted.
- Download the Windows installer for Photoshop Elements 2024 and save it (e.g., to
Downloads).
2) Run the setup wizard
- Right-click the installer (e.g.,
PhotoshopElements_2024_Setup.exe) → Run as administrator.
- Approve the User Account Control prompt (Yes).
- Accept the license agreement → choose the install location (default is recommended) → click Install.
- When the installer finishes, click Finish.
3) Launch Photoshop Elements
- Start from the Start menu: Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024.
- Allow first-run initialization to complete (this may take a minute).
4) Activate your perpetual license
- Sign in with your Adobe ID when prompted.
- If you have a serial number: go to Help → Activate / Enter Serial Number, then enter your key.
- If you have a redemption code: redeem it in your Adobe account to obtain the serial, then activate inside the app.
- Wait for online validation; full 2024 features will unlock after activation.
